Le Guide Bleu

As Miler had done with his other unique books for friends, he took a blank 9” x 7” book and wrote on 31 pages. A guide to Paris for Brenda Venus in anticipation of her upcoming travel—reliving memories, there are tips on living in Paris like a Parisian, the restaurants he liked, with hotels he stayed at and admired. There are  encounters with writers, actors, film makers and prostitutes. He also wanted her to learn French and outlines the way he approached learning the French language, with lists of key phrases and word usage. He encourages her to see filmmaker Francois Truffaut, actors Eugene Braun-Munk, Madame Langmann, and others.
